SUNDAYS

Our Sunday morning services are lively, family-friendly gatherings.
From 10 - 10.30am, our Kids’ registration desk is open, where you can find out more and check you kids in, or register new children, to their appropriate group, and grab your stickers (one for your child’s back, and one for you to keep for collecting them at the end of the service).

After joining in with some family worship time, kids from age 1-13 move to their own spaces, in the King’s Centre next door, where they can meet with God and with each other in a safe, fun and age-appropriate way.

Please share, in detail, any additional needs your child may have - we may not be able to accommodate all needs on your first visit, but we will endeavour to work with you to make the best plan. If you’d like to discuss any needs or expectations before your first visit, please email info@thekings.church.

Pebbles:
1-4 year olds - Room 2

During the Sunday morning meeting, our tots are looked after by an amazing team of DBS checked volunteers. We start with lots of free play before moving onto a short Bible Story Time with our hand puppet - Jack the dog. This is really interactive, accessible and based around repetition and song. We often have some time for craft/ colouring before finishing with some fun worship.

Under 1s are welcome to stay in the service and make use of our toy box and sofa corner, or move to the lobby area by the toilets, where we endeavour to have the service live-streamed & a handful of toys. Under 1s are also welcome in Pebbles, with their carer, please speak to the Kids’ Registration team if you’d like to do this.

Groundbreakers:
Year 1 - Year 5: Lower Hall

In Groundbreakers, children meet in small groups (usually Infants & Juniors), where we work through some team activities, worship time, memory verse learning & bible reading, a main message (usually accompanied by some video content) followed by some response time - usually based around discussion questions, soaking, prayer time or hands-on responses.

We believe that there is no junior Jesus, or baby Holy Spirit and are passionate about providing our primary aged children foundational discipleship opportunities, to help our kids to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus; facilitate their own, tangible, experiences of the Holy Spirit and to develop a deep knowledge of who they are and how they are found in their loving, Father God
